The Certified Slaps Map highlights our favorite locally owned restaurants and true mom-and-pop food spots across North Carolina. From small-town diners and barbecue joints to bakeries, taco counters, and roadside kitchens, every location pinned is a place we personally visited and recommend. Not every restaurant has received a physical sticker yet, but if it appears on the map, it already has our full stamp of approval — it means the food, service, and experience stood out and absolutely slaps.
